Improved performance of any aircraft has always been a challenge for passionate aviators since the invention of flight. After its inception, accomplishments by the Wright Brothers, Santos Dumont and Howard Hughes spent long hours of intense research and analyses, study of aero dynamics, and application of the laws and principles of Newton and Bernoulli.

In other words, time must be invested in order to carefully review all possibilities and avoid mistakes. Then manufacturing procedures and requirements must be met; such as appropriate materials able to withstand strong forces, shearing, tearing, pulling, gusts, as well as upward and downward movements.

The main performance modifications were carefully made by Avimech through quality control management requiring that all parts and components installed on the DF1 be completely tested, x-rayed, stress and load analyzed including approval of hardware military specs and Avimech full traceability of parts and components.

The Dragonfly DF1 is truly a reliable helicopter.
